EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
Workplace Training
This FREE project centers on providing unemployed or marginally employed adults over the age of 18 to obtain skills, credentials, work experience, and businesses to connect with a qualified workforce. The individualized services are designed to assist unemployed Albertans.
Indigenous Services
DFW designs all of its programs to suit each client and specializes in Indigenous program creation. DFW co-founder Sherri is a Metis from Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan. Her cultural background, education and project development provides the cultural sensitivity and insight to oversee the objectives of various stakeholders.
Transition Employment Services
Transition to Employment Services (TES) will be provided in Camrose-Wetaskiwin. It is expected that the TES Project will have 120 intakes. All participants will be closest to the labour market with EI eligibility, and unemployed or marginally employed adult Albertans who are experiencing barriers to employment and job retention.
One-On-One Employment Services
The One on One Employment Services (OOES) project in Wetaskiwin and Camrose has recently been modified to be better serve Albertans. OOES is an innovative comprehensive program design that enables unemployed or marginally employed Alberta residents, aged 18 and older, an opportunity to engage themselves in the labour market.
